Eustella Fontaine was born in the Commonwealth of Dominica. She attended the University of Sheffield where she obtained an LL.B. in 2001. She also obtained an LLM in International Human Rights Law from the University of Nottingham where she focused on International Protection of Refugees, Rights of the Child, International Humanitarian Law, International Human Rights and International Protection of Minorities.

She was admitted to the Bar of England and Wales in 2003 and is a member of the Honourable Society of Gray’s Inn. She joined CAA in October 2003 and has appeared as Junior Counsel on a number of noted civil matters.
